Master Raj Deepak Sonwane Honoured with Kala Ramesh Memorial Award 2025
Mumbai. On the occasion of the 63rd birth anniversary of late Kala Ramesh, a national executive member of the Press Club of Working Journalists Registered, an All India Journalists Organization committed to the safety and welfare of journalists, an special felicitation program was organized under the initiative of her close friend author and National Organization General Secretary of Press Club of Working Journalists, Shashi Dip Mumbai. The event was held in the mini auditorium of Kandivali Thakur Village, Mumbai. In this small gesture Master Raj Deepak Sonwane a 17 year old physically challenged boy, son of Darshana Deepak Sonwane, resident of Mumbai, received the Kala Ramesh Memorial Award 2025 honor consisting Samman Nidhi (cash), a medal and certificate. This Samman Nidhi (cash) is given by courtesy of Shri Ramesh Rajaraman (Chennai), husband of Mrs. Kala Ramesh.
According to Shashi Dip Mumbai, this award presented in the memory of late Mrs. Kala Ramesh (counselor of children with special needs) has been given for her concern for the safety, welfare and education of deprived children, especially children with special needs. In this small dignified ceremony Shashi Dip's esteemed friends Rafat Amin, Mitali Rath, Anjali Patil, Anjali Nigam, Rekha Goyal, Aarti Chavan, Amisha Tailor etc. and Darshana's family members were present. Shashi Dip introduced Kala Ramesh to all present and shared the purpose of this award. Founder President of Press Club of Working Journalists Dr. Syed Khalid Qais, Kala Ramesh's family, Delhi unit head Neena Goyal, General Secretary Shakir Malik, National Organization Secretary Saswati Das of Kolkata congratulated Raj Sonwane and wished him a bright future.
